Your Impact:
looking for an experienced and strategic head of the maintenance department. You will be in charge of overseeing and managing all maintenance tasks under the direction of the AGM in order to guarantee the best possible uptime, dependability, and security of our facilities, machinery, and equipment. You will oversee a group of maintenance experts, create and carry out maintenance plans, and promote ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the overall maintenance strategy and objectives for our manufacturing operations in Chennai, aligning with the company's strategic goals for uptime and reliability.
Lead and manage the Maintenance Department, providing clear direction, setting performance expectations, and fostering a culture of proactive maintenance and continuous improvement within the Chennai team.
Select, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of maintenance personnel, building a highly skilled and motivated team in Chennai.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment within the maintenance department in accordance with local Indian standards.
Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies efficiently, optimizing stock levels and minimizing costs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors for specialized maintenance services and spare parts in Chennai.

What you Need:
Experience in managing maintenance budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation.
Proven ability to implement and manage a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) effectively.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a collaborative and high-performing maintenance team in Chennai.

Educational Qualification: BE in Mech / ECE
Experience: 10 to 12 yrs
