Responsibilities
Work with a range of metals using arc welding processes, such as stick welding (SMAW).
Cut, grind, and clean the materials in preparation for welding.
Utilise visual and other inspection techniques to examine and test welds to guarantee their quality and integrity.
Keep welding equipment clean and in good working order to ensure safety.
Determine and fix any flaws or errors in the welding process.
