Job Description
Your Impact:
We are looking for an HMC Operator with expertise and skill to join our precision machining team. Setting up, running, and overseeing horizontal machining centres to create high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and standards will be your duties as an HMC Operator. Accurate measurement methods, HMC-specific tooling, and a solid grasp of CNC machine operations are necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up HMC machines according to job specifications, engineering drawings, and work instructions, including loading programs and setting offsets.
Load and edit CNC programs on the HMC control panel under the guidance of programmers, making minor adjustments as needed.
Select, install, and adjust appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and workholding fixtures for HMC operations, ensuring proper alignment and rigidity.
Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments, adhering to Chennai's quality control standards.
Monitor HMC machine operations during production runs, paying close attention to cutting parameters, tool wear, and coolant delivery.

What you Need:
Ability to select, install, and adjust appropriate cutting tools, including knowledge of tool holders and fixturing specific to HMCs.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards expected in the Chennai manufacturing sector, particularly for complex machined parts.
Ability to troubleshoot basic machine operational issues specific to HMCs, such as tool wear and coolant flow.

Educational Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above
