Job Description

Experience Requirement : 1 to 4 yrs
Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
Location : Chennai
Working Hours : General Shift | Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
Accurately assign Inpatient Diagnosis Related Groups (IPDRGs) to inpatient hospital claims based on patient medical records.
Review medical records (physician notes, lab results, imaging reports, etc.) to identify principal diagnoses, secondary diagnoses, and procedures.
Apply knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and DRG classification systems to assign accurate codes.
Analyze medical documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Identify and query physicians for clarification on unclear or missing information
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of Inpatient DRG coding principles and methodologies.
Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and DRG classification systems.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
