Shoulder Physiotherapy Workshop Practical Hands-On Training Program

This workshop is a hands-on training program in shoulder physiotherapy for physiotherapists, sports therapists, and rehabilitation professionals who wish to upgrade their skills, improve their techniques, build opinions and become better shoulder assessors and therapists.

We will review the anatomy of the shoulder region, biomechanics, functional assessments, and differential diagnosis of various conditions: rotator cuff injuries, impingement syndromes, frozen shoulder, and shoulder instability.

In addition to the manual therapy techniques of joint mobilisation, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, and clinical corrective exercises programming essential for rehabilitation outcomes, participants will receive numerous practical experiences and graphical representations through excellent video tutorials, and numerous unique interactive sessions, to help them feel confident in their practical application. Sessions incorporating workshops will maintain participant's focus on clinical rationale, treatment and management plans, and develop their objective and subjective assessments, treatment options, progression of rehab, and panning for follow-ups.

On completion therapists will receive a certification of participation with an opportunity for certification to expand their C-site/demonstrator-. These identify an achievable mark of credibility, qualification, and enhanced status within physiotherapy clinics, sports rehabilitation centres, and orthopaedic practices, which all enhance their employability and professional capacity.
