Job Description:

Singh Automation is seeking a skilled SolidWorks CAD Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks.
Work on designing, modifying, and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies.
Conduct design validation through simulations, tolerance analysis, and feasibility studies.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements.
Assist in prototype development and provide design support throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve design challenges.
Maintain an organized CAD database and document design revisions accurately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Design, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in SolidWorks.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and design principles.
Ability to analyze and improve designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills to work in a collaborative environment.
