Southern Railway has announced a notification for the recruitment of 132 Act Apprentice vacancies in relevant trades. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 15-07-2017 by 17:00 Hrs.

a. Fitter: 32 Posts
b. Carpenter: 16 Posts
c. Painter: 16 Posts
d. Welder: 16 Posts

2. Electrical Work Shop/ Perambur: 32 Posts
a. Electrician: 16 Posts
b. R & AC: 16 Posts

3. Railway Hospital/ Perambur: 20 Posts
a. MLT (Radiology): 03 Posts
b. MLT (Pathology): 08 Posts
c. MLT (Cardiology): 09 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 15 to 24 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10th class under 10, +2 System of Education or its equivalent

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on merit list.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 100/- by crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the Workshop Personnel Officer, Carriage and Wagon Works, Southern Railway, Perambur, Chennai 600023 and payable at Chennai. No fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format along with application in prescribed format, attested copies of date of birth, qualification, caste certificates with fee, in an envelop must be superscribed as Application for the Post of - by ordinary post to the Workshop Personnel Officer, Office of the Chief Workshop Manager, Carriage and Wagon Works, Southern railway, Ayanavaram, Chennai 600023 on or before 15-07-2017 by 17:00 Hrs.
