Job Description
Responsibilities:
In order to fulfil production deadlines and quality requirements unique to our products and the Chennai market, oversee and plan the daily production activities of a group of manufacturing staff at our Chennai site.
Keep a careful eye on manufacturing procedures, pinpointing areas where safety, quality, and efficiency can be improved, and putting corrective measures in place that are specific to our Chennai operations.
Make sure that all safety rules are strictly followed, and encourage a proactive safety culture in the production area that is in line with Chennai's best practices and local safety norms.
Effectively manage and distribute resources, such as labour, supplies, and machinery, to maximise use within the limitations and possibilities of our Chennai facility.
Investigate equipment issues as soon as they arise, work with maintenance staff to schedule repairs on time, and try to reduce production downtime in our Chennai site.

Outstanding knowledge of the principles of quality control, equipment operation, and production procedures that apply to our Chennai location.
