Actively following up on overpaid or underpaid medical claims with US insurance companies and patients via outbound calls is a crucial part of this profession. This is your chance if you have a deep grasp of the medical billing lifecycle, outstanding communication and negotiation skills, and a dedication to increasing collections.
Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you ll Do:
Make follow-up phone calls to US insurance providers to enquire about the status of medical claims that have been denied, underpaid, or unpaid.
In accordance with established protocols, escalate complicated or ongoing concerns to the relevant internal teams.
Keep thorough records of your discussions with patients and payers.
Observe all payer policies, client-specific procedures, and medical billing laws.
Keep abreast of developments in the medical billing sector, payer policy changes, and coding standards that affect AR follow-up.
