Join our leadership team at our Company in Chennai as a General Manager - Plant and take full responsibility for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all plant operations, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
Oversee and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, supply chain, and EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety).
Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance overall plant performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are utilized effectively.
Lead, mentor, and develop the plant leadership team and all employees, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture.
Qualification:
Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of a manufacturing plant and achieving significant operational improvements.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and supply chain management.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
Education: Any BE / CIPET Degree
Experience: 10 to 12 yrs
