Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on various metals (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel) as per blueprints and specifications.
Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate shielding gases and tungsten electrodes.
Inspect finished welds for defects (e.g., porosity, cracks, incomplete fusion).
Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures in the welding area in Chennai.
Skills
Proficient in TIG (GTAW) welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints.
Knowledge of different metals and their welding characteristics.
Understanding of welding safety procedures.
