TN Police Recruitment 2017 Apply Online (15711 Vacancies)

Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) (Government of Tamil Nadu), Chennai issued Common Recruitment Notification for the posts of Grade II Police Constables, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen for filling up total 15664 plus 47 (Backlog) Vacancies in TN Police 2017. The prescribed application form available from 23rd January 2017 and closing date for receipt of applications is 22nd February 2017.

Age Limit (as on 1st July 2017): 18 to 24 Years for General; 18 to 26 Years for BC and MBC; 18 to 29 Years for SC / ST; 18 to 35 Years for Female Widows; Maximum 45 Years for Ex-Serviceman.

Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Class (Matriculation) Pass with Tamil Language as one of the subject. 20% priority for Tamil Medium 10th Passed candidates.

Physical Standards:

(a) Height -> Men - Minimum 170 cms for General, Minimum 167 cms for SC / ST; Women - Minimum 170 cms for General, Minimum 167 cms for SC / ST.

(b) Chest -> 81 cms (Expansion - 05 cms).
Application Fee: OMR Application form rate is 30/-. Candidates are required to pay application fee thorugh specified 284 Post office.

Exam Fee: 135/- Postal Stamp, The stamp attached with the filled OMR application form.

Selection Process: Written Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Exam.

How to Apply: The Filled OMR Application Form along with required Photo-copies of documents / certificates should be reach to TNSURB. The last date for submission of applications is 22/02/2017 up to 5:45 PM.
