TNPSC Direct Recruitment of Village Administrative Officer (VAO) (2014 - 2015) for filling up 813 Vacancies in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) VAO Exam 2015-16 scheduled to be held on 14th February 2016. Eligible Candidates apply online through TNPSC Exams, TNPSC VAO exam 2015-16 last date for apply extended up to 31st December 2015. The TNPC VAO 2015-2016 Exam scheduled to be held on 14th February 2016 (Sunday).

Age Limit: 21 to 40 Years for SC / SC(A) / ST / MBC / BC / BCM and DW of all castes. 21 to 30 Years for General (UR) Candidates.

Minimum General Educational Qualification: Must have passed Matriculation (SSLC) Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies. Candidates should possess the above qualification as on 12th November 2015.

Eligibility: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

Selection Process: Written Examination (Objective Type) (OMR Method). The Exam contains 300 Marks (Exam Time Duration - 03 Hours) and Minimum Qualifying marks for selection is 90 Marks. The Exam scheduled to be held on 14th February 2016.

Scheme of Written Examination:

(1) Two types of question papers will be set:-

Type-1 -> General Studies + General Tamil will contain questions on General Studies (75 items), Basics of Village Administration (25 items), Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (20 items) and General Tamil (80 items).
Type-2 -> (General Studies + General English) will contain questions on General Studies (75 items), Basics of Village Administration (25 items), Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (20 items) and General English (80 items).

(2) Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the 80 items apart from answering the 120 (75+25+20) items on General Studies, Basics of Village Administration and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test.

(3) The 80 questions on General Tamil/ General English will be set in the respective languages and the remaining 120 questions will be set both in English and Tamil.

Registration and Exam Fee: Candidates have to Register their basic particulars through One-Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of 50/- towards registration fee. The Exam fee 75/-. All fees are pay through Online Mode only.

How To Apply: Minimum 10th Passed Tamil Knowledge Candidates Apply online through TNPSC Exams Online Portal. The on-line application can be submitted up to 14/12/2015 (extended up to 31/12/2015) till 11.59 p.m.
