Educational Qualifications:

(1) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant discipline.
(2) A Masters Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
(3) NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D required to Assistant Professor. Post Graduate in Library Science or equivalent subject for Liberian Posts
(4) Experience - 10 Years for Professor, 08 Years for Associate Professor.

Eligible Candidates may download the application form from the University Website and apply to the Registrar of the University (by Designation only) with a Demand Draft for 500/- towards the cost of application. The Demand Draft shall be drawn in favour of the 'The Registrar, University of Madras', payable at Chennai. The fee prescribed for SC/ST/Differently Abled Person is 250/-.
