Responsibilities
familiarity with relational databases, such as Postgres, MySQL, etc.
adjusting application queries through the analysis of execution strategies.
Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, MongoDB, and so forth will be deemed advantageous.
solid understanding of replication, clustering, and backup strategies.
practical knowledge of installing, upgrading, and applying patches to databases.
