Responsibilities
To create components according to engineering designs, blueprints, and work instructions, set up, run, and keep an eye on VMC machines.
Workpieces should be loaded and unloaded onto and off the VMC using the proper lifting equipment.
Use a variety of machining techniques, such as tapping, drilling, boring, and milling, to create intricate parts.
Perform regular maintenance on VMC equipment, such as tool changes, lubrication, and cleaning.
Wear protective gear, such as gloves, safety glasses, and earplugs, as directed.
Keep your workspace tidy, well-organised, and secure.
