Your Impact:
To join our precision machining team in Chennai, we are looking for a qualified and experienced CNC Setter. In order to create high-quality components in accordance with technical designs and specifications, the CNC Setter will be in charge of precisely setting up and preparing Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines (mills, lathes, etc.). Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations, tooling, and accurate measurement methods are necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex and precise setups of various CNC machines (VMC, HMC, Lathe) according to intricate job specifications, engineering drawings, and detailed work instructions.
Select, install, and accurately align advanced cutting tools, sophisticated fixtures, and specialized workholding devices for a variety of CNC operations.
Load, edit, and optimize CNC programs on the machine control panel, making complex adjustments to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
Conduct thorough first-article inspections and in-process quality checks on machined parts using a wide array of precision measuring instruments, adhering to stringent quality standards.
Monitor complex machine operations during production runs, making critical adjustments to tooling, offsets, and cutting parameters to maintain accuracy and surface finish.

Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve intricate machine setup issues, minimizing downtime.
Strong attention to detail and a deep commitment to achieving the highest quality standards expected in Chennai's precision manufacturing sector.
Ability to work independently, manage complex setups, and collaborate effectively with programmers and operators in a team environment in Chennai.
Educational Qualification: 10th, 12th or Above
Experience: 1 to 3 yrs
