Valley of Birds Homestay is situated 3500 feet above sea level in the Western Ghats at the foothills of Kemmanagundi, Chikmagalur District, Karnataka, a hill station that was the summer retreat of the former King of Mysore HRH Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. Kemmanagundi is about 250 km from Bangalore.
Nestled in a scenic valley on a seven acre Areca nut and Coffee plantation, The Homestay is a perfect place to unwind and relax in rural surroundings. Take a long walk in the jungle, visit the Temples and water falls of Kemmanagundi or just kick back and enjoy the distance from urbanization. The Homestay is amidst a wide variety of flowering plants and fruit trees.
Tariff
Rs.1, 750.00 per person per night inclusive of all three meals (Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian/breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening tea with snacks) Children below 5 years complementary (share parent’s bed) children 6 to 12 years will be charged 50 % of adult tariff. The above rates are applicable for additional person/persons sharing the same room. Driver stays free.
