Careers in Fire Science

Fire Science and Safety refer to precautions that are taken to prevent or reduce the likelihood of a fire that may result in death, injury or property damage, alert those in a structure to the presence of an uncontrolled fire in the event one occurs, better enable those threatened by a fire to survive in and evacuate from affected areas or to reduce the damage caused by fire. This includes precautions made during the construction of a building or the existing structures.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 150 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centres as per details given in the university website.

Bachelor's Thesis : Students are required to submit a Bachelor's Thesis at the end of third year.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
