Educational Qualification (Direct Recruitment): Pass in Plus Two (Matric with 12th Class) Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or equivalent examination recognised by Government of India or Government of Kerala.

Recruitment by Transfer:

Category No 2/2016 -> By transfer from among the Lower Division Clerks/ Lower Division Typists/ Forest Drivers in Kerala Forest Department, who have been declared to be an approved probationer.

Category No 3/2016 -> By transfer from among eligible Depot Watchers/ Reserve Watchers, who have been declared to be an approved probationer.

Category No 4/2016 -> By transfer from among the last grade government servants in the Kerala Forest department who have been declared to be an approved probationer. (other than Depot Watchers/ Reserve Watchers)

Selection Process: Written Test (OMR Format), Physical Efficiency Test and Endurance Test.
