B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan
Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu
MS/MD from above two Colleges are Directly Recognised by MCI It is exactly similar to MS/MD from any Recognised Medical College in India. MS/MD from other than these two Medical College in Nepal is not Recognised in India.

Admission Process of B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan

B P Koirala conducts a separate Entrance Exam for MS/MD admissions. Students including Indians must appear and qualify in this exam to get admission in this College. Qualifing marks is 40% Seat is allotted according to Rank Secured in this Entrance Test. There is nothing like Management Quota/Foreign Quota or any type of Direct Admission. This entrance exam is conducted in the month of May.
Admission Process of Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu

Institute of Medicine (IOM) conducts a separate Entrance Exam for MS/MD admissions. Students including Indians must appear and qualify in this exam to get admission in this College. Qualifing marks is 40% Seat is allotted according to Rank Secured in this Entrance Test. There is nothing like Management Quota/Foreign Quota or any type of Direct Admission. This entrance exam is conducted in the month of March.
Hostel Facilities in Nepal
Separate hostel accommodations are provided to boys and girls. These hostels are located within the campus. It is compulsory to stay in these hostels. Students have to pay the fee or hostel charges once for the four and half years or annuall basis. During internship, students can pay their hostel charges from the internship allowance that they get. Students are not allowed to change or shift hostel, once they are admitted to it. The hostel management is responsible for taking care of security of students, cleanliness, providing good canteen facilities and regular water and electricity immediately.
