Age Limit: Not more than 35 years for Scientist B, Not more than 30 years for all other posts (as on 1st June, 2016).

Essential Qualifications:

Field Officer -> Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a recognized University with minimum 6 OGPA out of 10 (OR)M.Sc in Botany with first class 60% from a recognized University. Computer literate with knowledge of computer fundamentals and working knowledge in Windows/ Linux operating system, word processing, electronic worksheet, e-mail etc.

Senior Clerk -> First Class Degree from a recognized University. Familiar with office productivity software like word processing, spreadsheet.

Junior Chemist -> Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University with first class with minimum 6 OGPA out of 10 or 60% marks. One year experience in Lab analytical procedure in quality control.

Junior Microbiologist -> Degree in Microbiology from a recognized University with first class with minimum 6 OGPA out of 10 or 60% marks One year experience in Lab analytical procedure in quality control.

Agriculture Demonstrator -> Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Botany/ Forestry from a recognized University with 1st Class (60%) or minimum 6 OGPA out of 10.

Extension Assistant -> Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Botany/ from a recognized University with 1st Class (60%) or minimum 6 OGPA out of 10. Working knowledge in computer. Five years experience in Plantation Management.

Scientist B (Chemistry) -> Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry (Pure Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Natural Product Chemistry) from a recognized university with Minimum 7 OGPA out of 10 or 70% marks.

Senior Microbiologist -> Degree in Microbiology from a Recognized University/ Institution with minimum 6 OGPA out of 10 or 60% marks. 05 years experience in laboratory analytical procedures in quality control.

Selection Process:

For Scientist B (Chemistry) post -> Selection will be through Examinations in multiple phases. {Objective tests (MCQ) and/or Essay type tests followed by Group Discussion and/or presentations and/or interviews}. Practical tests may also be held.

For all other posts -> Selection will be through Examinations in multiple phases. {Objective tests (MCQ) and/or Essay type tests}. Practical tests may also be held wherever necessary.
