Day 01: Delhi
Today city tour of Old Delhi, places to visit Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat - the cremation site of mahatma Gandhi, later a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, the picturesque market of Old Delhi, Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan.
Afternoon New Delhi, visit Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world. Drive past India Gate, (war memorial arch). President's House, Lakshmi Narayan Temple-modern Hindu temple. Later evening enjoys magnificent Indian market. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi – Shimla
Drive to Shimla, Shimla is often referred to as the "Queen of Hills. Located in the north-west Himalayas at an average altitude of 2,205 meters (7,234 ft.), Shimla was declared the summer capital of the British Raj in India.
Evening at leisure for independent activities. Overnight at Shimla.
Day 03: Shimla city tour
Proceed for an excursion to Kufri (2500mts), the Himalayan Zoo (Monday close) which hosts rare Antelopes, Felines and Birds including Himalayan Monal, the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. Evening Visit Mall Road, Church and Scandal point. Overnight at the Shimla.
Day 04: Shimla – Manali
Drive to Manali, at altitude of 1,950 m (6,400 ft.) in the Beas River valley is an important hill station. Overnight at Manali.
Day 05: Manali city tour
Proceed for a half day sightseeing tour and visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Mandir and Gayatri Mandir, Solang valley. Rest of the day is free leisure for independent activities. Overnight at Manali.
Day 06: Manali – Rohtang pass – Manali
Drive to Rohtang Pass (3979 mts), visiting Kothi and Rahalla Falls, naggar. Return to Manali. Stay overnight at Manali.
Please note: Rohtang pass is 51 Kms | 2hrs one way and subjected to weather conditions. We generally visit the snow point on Rohtang Road. To reach there; have to use different transportation (four wheel jeeps).
Day 07: Manali – Manikaran – Kullu
Drive to Manikaran, World's hottest Sulphur Spring Waters and is a holy place for Hindus & Sikhs alike. Return back to Kullu town en-route visiting the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to visit Kullu town. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08: Kullu – Dharamshala
Drive to Dharamsala, popularly known as the 'Queen of the Hills', is divided into lower and upper towns with a difference of 457m (1500ft.) between them. The mountains enfold 3 sides of the town and the valley stretches to the south. Dharamsala is known for its scenic beauty, calmness and serenity. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09: Dharamshala city tour
City tour visiting Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Dharamshala.
Day 10: Dharamshala – Dalhousie
Drive to Dalhousie, a gorgeous hill station located on the western border of the Dhaula Dhar Range of the great Himalayas. It was founded in 1854 by the British Viceroy Lord Dalhousie, It was a delightful summer retreat for the British troops and bureaucrats. Beside its breath taking landscapes the other highlights are the ancient temples, untouched beauty of Chamba & Pangi valley and the valley of milk, honey and streams. Overnight at Dalhousie.
Day 11: Dalhousie - Excursion to Khajjiar
Full day excursion visiting Khajjiar, a small grassy meadow located in the picturesque Chamba valley. It is an important picnic spot whose quiet environs beacon the tourists traveling between Dalhousie and Chamba. Overnight in Dalhousie.
Day 12: Dalhousie-Pathankot-Delhi
Morning drive to Pathankot railway station (Chakki Bank - 90 kms / 3 hrs) to board train to Delhi. Arrive Delhi at & transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
