Col’s Calibre, the market leader in Coimbatore is the ‘BRAIN CHILD’ of Col.P. Jeyaraj who has more than 30 years of experience in ‘Training and Development’ activities. It has trainers specially trained, some by The British Council, on various aspects of English training, Personality Enhancement and IELTS (International English Language Testing System). We are the only PLATINUM member of the British Council for IELTS in Tamil Nadu.

The centre, established in 1997, has been concentrating on providing ‘Authentic English Language Training’ (Communicative English) and preparing its participants for IELTS (International English Language Testing System), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and OET (Occupational English Test) all over Tamilnadu.

We have the reputation of producing Band 7 and above in IELTS consistently. We are proud that we are able to attract professionals from all parts of Tamilnadu and other States. We have professionals specifically ‘flying in’ from Malaysia, Singapore and the Gulf regularly for doing IELTS here.

We have our main centre at Singapore Plaza, Crosscut Road, Gandhipuram, the heart of Coimbatore and a branch at Hope College. IELTS tests all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. The Speaking test is a face-to-face interview with a certified Examiner. It is interactive and as close to a real-life situation as a test can get .
