Description for "Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textilesmgt"

    Dear aspirants,
It’s now time for textile management.
One of the three basic requirements of human beings is infrastructure-shelter, agriculture- food-, and textiles-cloth.
Students who opted for textile related courses in post graduation like PGDM in textile, apparel, home textiles etc…are on a high time and are finding a huge number of opportunities today, in fact they are paid a descent package depending on the experience levels i.e. from fresher to 4 years, well thanks to the worldwide boom in the textile industry and the various policies that have raised the demand and competition in the sector in the post multifibre era agreement (MFA).
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textile Management in Coimbatore is worth mentioning in this context because it is the only institute that has till date achieved excellence in producing highly efficient managers who shine in various textile industries in India and related Govt organizations and non-govt organizations.
It is a Central Govt institute like IIMs and IITs great right! and for those who are placement oriented, to my knowledge apart from 100% placement they offer an attractive package in their campus.
    Supportive facts
At the end of fiscal year 2010-11, there were 105 million people employed in India’s textiles and allied sectors, PTI quoted Textiles Minister Anand Sharma mentioning in a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Economic Times reported.

Next to agriculture, textiles industry is the second-largest employment generating sector in the country.
