Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training And Research (SVNIRTAR), Cuttack (Odisha State) has published recruitment notice for Faculty and Non Teaching posts to be filled up on year to year contract basis for a newly established Composite Rehabilitation Centre (CRC) at Rajnandgaon district of Chhattishgarh. The last date for submission of applications is 30th September 2015.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Director -> Essential - Postgraduate Degree/Diploma of two years full time course in any field of rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities recognized by RCI/MCI. Desirable - Ph.D in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. Experience - 8 years experience in the field of rehabilitation for PwDs. Administrative experience is preferable. Experience is relaxable for deserving candidates where the selection committee so decides.

Asst. Professor (PMR) -> MBBS with PG degree/Diploma (full time course) from a MCI recognized Institute. Minimum 5 years experience in teaching or research in field of rehabilitation. Desirable: Ph. D in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.

Asst. Professor (Speech Pathology) -> Post Graduate Degree (Full time course) in Speech and hearing (Recognized by RCI). Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching/research in field of rehabilitation. Desirable - Ph.D in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.

Asst. Professor (Clinical Psychology) -> M. Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (full time course) from a RCI recognized Institute. Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching/ research in the field of rehabilitation. Desirable - Ph. D in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.

Asst. Professor (Special Education) -> Master Degree with M.Ed (Special Edn.) in any category (full time course) from a RCI recognized Institute with minimum of 55% marks. Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation. Desirable - Ph. D in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.

Lecture (Physiotherapy) -> Master in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institute. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching/ research in the field of rehabilitation.

Lecture (Occupational Therapy) -> Master in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institute. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation. Desirable - Ph. D in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.

Administrative Officer -> Post Graduate Degree/MBA from recognized University. Minimum 5 years experience in the establishment/ admin matters in Govt. or reputed organizations.

Rehab. Officer (Social Work/Placement) -> Post Graduate Degree in Social Work/ Rehabilitation work/ Sociology/ Psychology or equivalent from a recognized University. Minimum 4 years experience in Vocational training and guidance as Social worker or in other related field of Rehabilitation.

Prosthetist & Orthotist -> Degree from a recognized Institute in Prosthetics/Orthotics Minimum 4 years experience of having worked in the related field.

Accountant -> Commerce Graduate from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer. Minimum 5 years experience in handling accounts/cash of which minimum 3 years experience in Govt. or Semi Govt. establishments.

Special Educator / Orientation & Mobility Instructor -> Diploma in Orientation and Mobility Instruction. Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching and training in the related field.

Vocational Instructors -> SSC and Diploma in Vocational Training from a reputed training Institute in related field including 2 years experience in Organizing/conducting vocational training programmes.

Assistant -> Graduate from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer.
Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative works.

Clinical Assistant -> B.Sc (Sp. & Hg.) or BRS (MR) equivalent degree from a recognized Institution/University. Minimum 2 years experience as Clinician or Research Assistant.

Workshop Supervisor Cum Store Keeper -> Matriculation with +2 or equivalent. Minimum 5 years experience in the concerned area as store Keeper.

Typist / Clerk -> Matriculation with +2 or equivalent. Typing Speed 35 wpm with computer knowledge. Minimum 2 years experience.
