Kasiga is the manifestation of a dream to create a school of excellence perpetually rising above in stature and beyond being a structure of brick and mortar with good facilities.

In the early 1990s Mr Ramesh Batta and Mrs Poonam Batta first felt the need to make the best co-ed residential school in Dehradun, India that was not elitist and yet within the reach of parents and students aspiring for quality residential education. Acquiring the perfect piece of land was the next step. The location had to be appropriate with the ambience of nature in abundance. Every new idea is an embellishment of another good idea. A tour across the world followed, to identify institutions of excellence and study their systems and design. Inspired by many exemplary establishments, the Batta family, in collaboration with a group of passionate individuals with knowledge, commitment and a vision came up with an impeccable model.

The foundation was laid on 5th October 2005 in the presence of prominent intellectuals and renowned educators. The aesthetically appealing structure seamlessly blending with the exuberant nature around was completed in 2007. A Board of Management was constituted in April 2007 and K siga, the best co-ed residential school in Dehradun, India commenced its academic journey modestly on 8th July 2007 with 10 students.

Over the years, Kasiga has blossomed into a top ranking co-educational boarding school, shaping the minds and hearts of every student and teacher who has crossed its portals.
