CPT entrance exam is one such entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course. It is a window of opportunity for a career in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Share Valuation and so on. CPT is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the said course and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions.
CPT is an objective type test, generally held every June and December. It is of 200 marks, divided into two sessions of two hours each.
