Clinical Palpation Online Course is an online professional course offered to physiotherapists, manual therapists and allied health professionals or practitioners who would like to be more accurate and confident in their clinical reasoning using the art of respectful touch (palpation). Although palpation is an essential element of any clinical evaluation, the course gives me the ability, the knowledge, and confidence to employ palpation in a conscious and appropriate way in the clinical environment.

Students will also be taught how to palpate muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and bony landmarks in a systematic way. The course focuses on accuracy, sensitivity, and clinical usefulness in the identification of dysfunction (i.e.soft tissue restrictions, trigger points, joint malalignment and structural asymmetries).

By interactive video demonstrations, anatomy based and case based real-world clinic, the students will be taught step by step how to sharpen and develop their tactile skills. The Clinical Palpation Online Course is developed taking into consideration the online modality in such a way that the students could train their tactile abilities under the guidance of the instructor.
