Ms. Anamica Goel, a dance-director [awarded international award by
Hon. Sheila Dikshit] with her Dance & Drama Institute, KALA VATIKA
DANCE STUDIO presented a grand DANCE show with 60 STDS. At NATIONAL
MEDIA CENTER ON 14th JULY.(DANCING THROUGH AGES)

Anamica Goel the founder of KALA VATIKA DANCE STUDIO , Resident of
C-317,Sushant lok-1,held a breathtaking musical dance show of her
Dance academy "KALA VATIKA DANCE STUDIO".The two-hour dance
extravaganza contained a wealth of classical & western talent. The
show was an inspiring epic, reliving the journey of the KATHAK DANCE
throughout history. Using modern art forms of dance, the richly
costumed show married the contemporary and the ancient. Combining
traditional dance and music with the most up to date stage technology,
the show was a hundred year old story executed with all the advantages
of the modern day stage show.
The basic Kathak syllabus,comprising
NAMASKAR,AMAD,SALAMI,LADI,PARAN,TUKRE,K
AVITRA etc.was presented at the
beginning of the show,which spellbound the audience.
Indian cinema turned 100 on APRIL 12TH 2012.The Indian films are
mostly musicals, and are expected to contain catchy music in the form
of song-and-dance numbers.A TRIBUTE WAS GIVEN TO INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY
BY SHOWING THE Journey OF INDIAN CINEMA THROUGH THE MAIN SHOW-"DANCING
THROUGH AGES". The Students presented Dances,beautifully
choreographed and woven into a script, on FEW FAMOUS SUPERHIT
MELODIES OF Movies of EACH DECADE AFTER INDEPENDENCE.i.e from
1950-present.
Anamica Goel over a long and distinguished career has developed a
highly individual style to enrich the Kathak & Contemporary dance
form. Anamica's command over the nritta is amendable. Her delicate
postures and strong rhythmic footwork combine in an appealing flow of
sculpturesque movements. Her subtle abhinaya (the expressional aspect
of dance), Stage knowledge and aesthetic sense add to the highly
distinctive character of her recitals. Over a professional career
spanning Sixteen years, she has proved her mettle with her
performances that have been appreciated with national and
international awards. She has also directed and choreographed
prestigious dance dramas like

THE SHOW WAS A COMPLETE HOUSEFULL WITH GRAND SUCCESS. The dancers
straight away set the stage for an enlivening evening by instantly
striking a rapport with the large audience. Their expressions were
