    THE MONEY
When estimating moving expenses a lot of people allow for immediate costs like lease automobiles, and gas, but ignore to add other, particularly long-term expenses. A lot of people they spend additional money during the first year of their move. People tend to eat out a bit more - especially in the first several weeks - you'll be wanting new things for that new home, plus new accessories for your kids attending new schools. Make sure that you do a little analysis on the quality of life in your new city; is it higher? if so, factor in fuel costs. If you make the move from South to North there are typically greater electricity & heating bills to consider. Don't be alarmed if you realize that you're moving to a more costly place, as there usually is a silver lining (higher heating bills usually mean lower air-conditioning bills). The trick is to know these matters ahead of time.
    THE MOVE
By now you have drawn up a moving cost range, allowing for your new (higher) salary, expenses the organization is covering, and all the immediate and long-term costs discussed earlier. For those who have chosen the 'Hands-off' Method (hired a moving companies, packers, and bought plane tickets for your loved ones, you should still package your priceless bone china family members heir-looms yourself (to anyone else they're just plates!), package a Journey Bag (change of outfits, toiletries, first aid kit, music, guides, childrens' books/toys ), and, sadly, cope with the refrigerator (see below) . For those selecting the 'Hands-on' Method, read on.
    PACKING
If you are a person who stands in wonder when they're product packaging your groceries at the check-out aisle, you're probably not the gifted packer in family members members. And while I cannot describe here how to be a Zen packer, I can share a few guidelines that will help immensely :
-Your buddies may have provided (or may have been recruited) to help you move. DO NOT ask them to help you package - this is not aspect of the cope.
-Start about 2 weeks before moving day, and tackle one space at some point, starting with the least used places.
-Pack a Journey Bag (things you will need immediately before, during and after Moving - toothpaste/toiletries, spare outfits, toys/books for kids)
-Pack huge factors in little storage containers, light factors in big storage containers. Always package huge items at the base.
-Like things go together (books with guides, CDs with CDs) - Cover dishes, cups, and breakables in newspaper (mark box FRAGILE)
-FOOD - some food-stuffs can be loaded (tin-cans, oil, dried items, etc) - as these matters are usually loaded last, they can be put in open storage containers (no lid), this way they won't have other storage containers stacked on them, and they could be accessed.
-Refrigerator - Begin using up (and not replacing) refrigerated foods about 2 weeks before moving day. If you are just moving across city, most factors in the refrigerator can probably be taken with you (though buckets of ice cream, gallons of milk, etc. can really create a mess if spilt). If you're moving across the nation, you will have to consume it or discard it.
