Kalasalingam University is a deemed university that laid its foundation in the year 1984. The MHRD authorized the university to operate as an institution of higher learning. The university has its campus within Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. In the year 2000, the University Grants Commission recognized Kalasalingam University. Additionally, the institution received it's approval by NAAC, NIRF, NBA and others.
