National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), New Delhi invites applications from the citizens of India for recruitment of Technician and Technical Assistant. The last date for submission of online applications is 23rd November 2015.

About: NISCAIR (under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)) was formed by the merger of erstwhile National Institute of Science Communication (NISCOM) and Indian National Scientific Documentation Centre (INSDOC) on 30th September 2002.

Technician (1) PC-T01 and PC-T04,04,SSC /10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks PLUS ITI certificate OR National/ State trade certificate in required trade.

Technical Assistant PC-TA01 to PC-TA05,08,1st class B.Sc.(Sci) with one year full time Professional qualification or one year experience / 1st class Diploma in Printing Technology/ Information Technology (IT) of at least 3 years full time duration.

Age Limit: 28 Years. Age Relaxation as per GoI Rules.

Pay Scale: PB-1: 5200-20200 Grade Pay 1900/- (plus usual allowances as admissible to Council employees)

Selection Process: Written Test / Interview

Application Fee: 500/- in the form of crossed Demand Draft valid for at least 3 months in favour of Director, NISCAIR, payable at New Delhi. The fee except for SC, ST, PWD, Women and regular employees of CSIR.
