National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India invites applications for the following Consultants on Contract Basis, initially for a period of one year, which may be further extended depending on requirement and performance. Essential Qualifications:

Consultant In-Situ Conservation ->

(1) M.Sc. Botany/ Forestry / Agriculture / Taxonomy / Pharmacognosy.
(2) Two years' experience in Taxonomy Pharmacognosy.
(3) Desirable - Ph.D in concerned discipline and experience in Survey / Agro forestry / Collection and Cultivation of Medicinal Plants.

Consultant In-Situ Resource Augmentation ->

(1) M.Sc. Botany/ Forestry / Agriculture / Taxonomi / Pharmacognosy.
(2) Two years' experience in Taxonomy Pharmacognosy.
(3) Desirable - Ph.D in concerned discipline and experience in Survey / Agro forestry / Collection and Cultivation of Medicinal Plants.

Consultant Ex-Situ Conservation ->

(1) M.Sc. Botany/ Forestry / Agriculture / Taxonomy / Pharmacognosy.
(2) Two years' experience in Taxonomy Pharmacognosy.
(3) Desirable - Ph.D in concerned discipline and experience in Survey / Agro forestry / Collection and Cultivation / Conservation of Medicinal Plants.

Consultant Engaging Eco-Task Force for Rehabilitation for critical Medicinal Plants habitats ->

(1) M.Sc. Botany/ Forestry / Agriculture / Plant Science.
(2) Two years' experience in Survey of Medicinal Plants of High Altitude.
(3) Desirable Ph.D in concerned discipline and experience in Forestry / Must have the capacity in physical endurance with proof / Cultivation / Conservation of Medicinal Plants.

Consultant Collection / Compilation of Raw Material Data ->

(1) M.Sc. Botany/ Forestry / Taxonomy / Pharmacognosy.
(2) Two years' experience in Taxonomy Pharmacognosy.
(3) Knowledge of Computer in Analysing Data Statistically.
(4) Desirable - Ph.D in concerned discipline.
