POWERGRID, Northern Region Transmission System - I III requires bright, committed & energetic persons for recruitment of Diploma Trainee (Electrical / Electronics & Communication) and Junior Officer Trainee (HR) for filling up total 74 Vacancies. Northern Region Transmission System-I & Northern Region Transmission System-III covering the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana & Delhi and Telecom Division of NR-I & III requires following vacancies. The Online registration start from 8th June 2016 and close on 22nd June 2016.

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma Trainee (Electrical) -> Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/ST candidates and pass marks for SC.

Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Commn) -> Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST candidates.

Jr. Officer Trainee (HR) -> Two year full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks General/ OBC(NCL)/ SC and pass marks for ST candidates.

Stipend and Pay Scale:

For Diploma Trainee -> The Stipend during training period 16500/- pm, After successful completion of training, the candidates will be posted as Junior Engineer Gr-IV at S1 level in Supervisory category (Basic Pay of 16000/- in the pay-scale of 16000-35500/- (IDA))
For Junior Officer -> The Stipend during training period 16500/- pm, After successful completion of training, the candidates will be posted as Junior Officer (HR) Gr-IV at S1 level in Supervisory category (Basic Pay of 16000/- in the pay-scale of 16000-35500/- (IDA))

Selection Process: For Diploma Trainee - Written Test (100 % weightage); Junior Officer Trainee - Written Test (100 % weightage) & Computer Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature).

Test Centres: Delhi, Allahabad (UP), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Dehradun (Uttrakhand).

Application Fee: 300/- + Bank Charges ( 60/-) for General and OBC Candidates. The fee exempted for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-SM/ Departmental candidates. The Candidate shall fill up the online application form and on submission of the same a resume and bank challan having unique POWERGRID Registration ID will be generated. After two bank working days of generation of challan., candidate can approach any branch of SBI with
Challan for depositing the fees.
