Taj Mahal is located in Agra Of India which is 250 km away from New Delhi. It is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the world. It is a symbol of love. It was established in 1648 by the great Mugal Emperor Shah Jahan. It was constructed for the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal . She was Persian princess. Mugal Emperor loved her too much. She got died while giving birth to 14th child. It was constructed according to Mugal and Persian architecture.White marble were used for construction.There was also beautiful garden around it.Thousand of artisan and craftsmen were employed for its construction.It became a UNESCO world heritage site. It is dome in shape.
