The variety Hour at 24/7 Bar, The LaLiT New Delhi

The Variety Hour is a swing/lounge/jazz outfit that was put together early 2008 by Arjun Sagar Gupta(pianist) and Nikhil Vasudevan(drummer). They had been playing many different genres of music for many years under various other Musical Setups/Bands. Once they started playing/jamming with other likeminded musicians, a sound emerged which was unique in the Indian music circuit and deeply rooted in the style of the old School jazz but with a tinge of Be-Bop, Cool Jazz and Groove based Lounge Music.
