Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued Examination notification of Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) (CAPF AC) Examination, 2016. The last date for submission of online applications is 8th April 2016.

Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants),270 (BSF - 28, CRPF - 97, ITBP - 87, SSB - 58),20 to 25 Years as on 1st August 2016 (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1991 and not later than 1st August, 1996.)

Minimum Educational Qualifications: A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Relaxation - 05 Years for SC and ST, 03 Years OBC, For others as per Govt Rules.

Application Fee: The Candidates are required to pay a fee of 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. The fee excepting Female/ SC/ ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee). The Pay by Cash Mode option will be deactivated at 23.59 hours of 07/04/2016.

Selection Process: Written Examination, Physical and Medical Standards Tests and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview/ Personality Test.

Written Examination: The written examination to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission will be held on 26th June, 2016 and will comprise two papers. Paper I will be held from 10 a.m. to 12.00
Noon and Paper II will be held from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Paper I : General Ability and Intelligence - 250 Marks The questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.

Paper II : General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 Marks In this paper candidates will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/ language skills will be English only.
