The new Autodesk Translation Framework (ATF) is used when importing model data from popular file formats, including
CATIA® (V4 and V5), Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks®, Parasolid®, JT, NX, STEP, Rhino®, and IGES/IGS. ATF supports importing
of meshes and curves as well as object colors and layers when you select any of these file formats from the Import tool and
when using the IGESIMPORT command.
