Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications from eligible Indian candidates for direct recruitment of following Group 'C' Civilian posts in HQ Southern Western Air Command Units. Eligibility:

Draughtsman GDE-III ->

(1) Matriculation or its equivalent from recognized Board or University.
(2) Two years Diploma in Mechanical Drawing OR Civil Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Electrical Engineering OR Draughtsman ship (Mechanical OR civil) from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized Institution.

CLERK HINDI TYPIST ->

(1) 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university.
(2) A Typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter OR A typing steed of 30 words per minutes in Hindi on Computer (30 words per minute correspond to 9000 Key Depression Per Hour on an Average of 5 key depressions for each word).

LDC ->

(1) 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university.
(2) A Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English on manual typewriter OR A typing steed of 30 words per minutes in English on Computer (35 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key De pression Per Hour on an Average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Superintendent (Store) ->

(1) Graduate Degreeof recognized University or equivalent.
(2) Desirable- Experience in handling Stores and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in Public or Private Sector.

MTD (OG) ->

(1) Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized university /Board.
(2) Must be holding a valid civil driving license for light and heavy vehicle.
(3) Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism.
(4) Minimum two year experience in driving motor vehicles.

Fireman ->

(1) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
(2) Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a state fire service or a recognized institute of repute.
(3) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, Hose Fittings and fire appliances and equipments like fire Engine, Trailer Fire Pumps and Foam Branches OR Ex-Serviceman of appropriate trade.
(4) Desirable - (i) should be familiar with maintenance and operation of various types of Fire appliances (ii) Experience of having worked in a regular civil or Defence fire brigade as Fireman Gd-I or Senior Fireman (iii) Have passed the General Fire Fighting course of Defence Institute of Fire Research, Ministry of Defence or Sub-officers Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or any other similar recognized course.

Painter ->

(1) Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the appropriate / akin field or trade viz Painter OR Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade, viz, Painter.

Vulcaniser ->

(1) Middle School Standard pass OR Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade.

Cook ->

(1) Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
(2) minimum of six months of experience in trade OR Ex-servicemen in similar /akin/field or trade.

Mess Staff ->

(1) Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or
Board.
(2) Desirable: One year of experience as Waiter from an Organization or Institute.

MTS ->

(1) Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
(20 Desirable - One year of experience as Lascar from an Organization or Institute.

Safaiwala ->

(1) Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.

AYAH (for only female applicable) ->

(1) Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
(2) Desirable - One year of experience as Ayah in Hospitals or Nursing Home and Organization or Institute.

Selection Process: Written Examination. The date/time and place of exam will be intimated by post to eligible candidates.
