    DAY 01: ARRIVE PARO THIMPHU (50 KM, 1 HOUR DRIVE)

    Bhutan Sightser Tours representative will meet you at Paro airport exit doors following customs formalities and drive you to Thimphu.Upon reaching Thimphu, will check into a hotel have lunch, get refreshed and visit the following sites.

    National Memorial Chorten: The Chorten, build in 1974 to honor of Third King of Bhutan (Jigme Dorji wangchuk) is the eye catching religious structure in the town and for many people it is the focus of their daily worship.

    Buddha Doderma: The huge 51 meter tall Statue located at the hill top is one of the largest Buddha Statue in the world. From here you will have beautiful and stunning view of entire Thimphu city.
    DAY 02: THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

    Changangkha Lhakhang: Build in 12th century ,this temple is one of the oldest temple in Thimphu and is perched on a ridge above Thimphu, south east of Mothithang.

    Takin Preserve: It is a wild life reserve for Takin, the national animal of Bhutan.

    Tashichodzong: The fortress of glorious religion was initially erected by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1641 and rebuild in 1960s in traditional style by the third king of Bhutan.

    Simtokha Dzong: Build by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel 1629, this historic monument today houses on of the most important Dzongkha (National Language) learning institute
    DAY 03: THIMPHU TO DOCHULA-PARO (72 KM)

    Drive over to Dochula pass which is about 23 kilometer from Thimphu,

    Dochula Pass: Located at 10,000 feet, The Dochula Pass offers 360 Degree panoramic views of mountains .After that journey continues to paro which approximately 72 kilometer from Dochula. On arrival in Paro, check into the hotel. In the afternoon the sightseeing of Paro starts.

    Paro Dzong: Build in 1646, it is one of the best and the oldest Bhutanese architecture.

    Ta Dzong National Museum: The National Museum located behind the Paro Dzong plays an important role in preservation and promotion of Bhutanese Cultural Values.
    DAY 04: PARO SIGHTSEEING

    After the Breakfast Hike to Taktshang Monastry (Tiger Nest) which is about 3 hour walk. Hanging on a cliff of 900 meter, Taktshang Monastery or the Tiger nest is the highly respected and famous monastery in Bhutan .

    After Lunch drive to Drukgyel Dzong: The Dzong is believed to be build by Tenzin Drukdar on the command of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1649 to commemorate his victory over Tibetan Army.

    Kyichu Lhakhang: The temple believed to build in 7th century by Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo is one of the oldest and beautiful temples of Bhutan.

    DAY 05: DEPART PARO
    Breakfast in the hotel, and then drive to the airport for flight to your destination.
