DAY 1

Arrive in Srinagar | Sightseeing in SrinagarMeals: No MealUpon arrival in Srinagar Airport, meet a Yatra representative who would guide to the designated vehicle. Drive from the airport to the hotel. Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir that boasts of picturesque lakes, lofty mountain ranges and diverse landscapes. An idyllic setting to enjoy some moments of love, this place offers an exhilarating holiday experience to newlyweds.

After arriving at the hotel, check-in and take rest for a while. In the afternoon, get ready to explore the beautiful Mughal Gardens, which is a prominent tourist attraction of Srinagar. Built during the Mughal period, these gardens are a living example of the bygone era. These beautifully-designed gardens are a combination of three famous gardens, namely Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden and Chasme Shahi Garden. Featuring fountains, lush greenery and colourful flowerbeds, each of the three gardens attract visitors of all age groups.

As the sun sets, embark on a shikara ride (Charges applicable) on the lovely Dal Lake to reach Nehru Park. The shikaras are small boats with cushioned seats and footrests. Trip to SonmargMeals:Head for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, which is another enchanting destination of Kashmir. Referred to as 'the Meadow of Gold', Sonmarg boasts of serene glaciers, peaceful meadows, snow-clad mountains and lush greenery. It serves as the gateway to Ladakh and is an ideal location to indulge in adventurous activities.

After this enriching experience in Sonmarg, head back to Srinagar. Stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3

Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam (94 km/ approx. 3 hours)
Leave the hotel for Pahalgam, which is popularly referred to as the 'Village of Shepherds'. Perhaps one of the most beautiful places on earth, Pahalgam offers breathtaking views of its picturesque vistas. This place has a beautiful river – Lidder River, meandering across its terrains owing to which it is flocked by numerous tourists and locals alike.

On the way to Pahalgam, make a stopover at Pampore Saffron Fields, where the scented aroma of the saffron plant will rejuvenate your senses. These fields are known across the country for producing saffron. Next, explore the Avantipur Ruins that comprise two ancient temples that are believed to be built around the 9th century. A reminiscent of the past, these shrines are among the most impressive structures of the bygone era, making them a favourite haunt of history lovers and tourists. This place underwent mass destruction, owing to which the temples are now in ruins. Thereafter, visit the Sangam Cricket Bat factory and Anantnag Sulphur Springs, two more prominent tourist attractions en route Pahalgam.

After reaching Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and rest. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4

Sightseeing in Pahalgam
You may spend the remaining day in leisure activities. From the scenic Lidder River to undulating terrains, Pahalgam offers a lot to explore and experience. On your own, you can visit some of the nearby attractions to get the best of this place.

Start by exploring the Aru Valley, a place with scenic meadows and peaceful environment. Situated about 12 km from Pahalgam, this lovely valley serves as the base for treks to the picturesque Kolahoi Glacier. You can also pay a visit to Chandanwari, which is the starting point of the revered Amarnath Yatra. Located 16 km away from Pahalgam, this place has serene environs set against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Adventurous activities like sledging and hiking are organised here. On the way, you will get a chance to explore Hajan, a place where the much-acclaimed Hindi movie – Betaab, was shot.

You can head to the picnic spot alongside the picturesque Lidder River and spend some moments of togetherness in the beautiful surroundings of the region. For a unique experience, you can opt for a pony ride towards Baisaran Meadow, which is surrounded by verdant greenery and snow-capped mountains. Popularly called the 'Meadow of Flowers', this place has diverse landscapes, which are dominated by fields enveloped with colourful flowerbeds.
