MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Admission Eligibility Criteria
The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

CET (Common Entrance Test)
The CET (Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Karanataka Examination Authority (KEA). Only Karnataka Domicile Candidates can appear this test.

COMEDK
The COMEDK is an another Entrance Exam for Admission into 1st year to Engineering, Architecture, Medical and Dental Coureses in Karanataka. Both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka Students can appear this Test. COMEDK is an association of Private Engineering, Medical and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.

Management Quota
Every Private Engineering some percent (20-25%) of seats are reserved under Management Quota. These seats are handed over to the aspiring candidates (Kanataka & Non-Karnataka).

Supernumerary Quota
Like Managemnet Quota Seats some seats are also reserved under this quota. Children of employees working in gulf countries (minimum one year), Persons of Indian Origin and Foreign Nationals are eligible for admission under this category.
