• Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam like CBSE/ICSE/ Intermediate or Two year Pre-University Examination by a recognized Board/ IB Diploma/ Cambridge University High School Certificate/ Advanced (A) level of General Certificate Education (GCE)
• Candidates must have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology in the qualifying examination (50% for SC/ST or candidates from J&K or the North East states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)
• Note: Candidates who have studied biology in the qualifying exam will be eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engineering and Biotechnology programmes
• Candidates must have been born on or after 1st July 1993 (the Class X records must validate the date of birth)
