Technical skills are important for the easy go and growth achievement, whether an individual or an organisation. Organisations build their employees confidence through various measures as to get the maximum output from them. For the improvement of their organisation s reputation as well as getting greater returns they need to boost their employees morale. For this they opt corporate training methods, corporate outings, inter-departmental training campaigns, etc. It is seen in India, that most of the young population is not skilled enough to work for the advanced technologies or for the industries.
Skill development project run by Government of India is the core project to start a movement for enhancing these skills in the employees or the young candidates to get a stable and better livelihood. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). This scheme was launched with an objective to enable a large section of young population to attain industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a fine earning & livelihood as well.
When we talk about technical skills, we must take it as our responsibility to maintain the standard required for the work taken up to be completed. Government has initiated its own project to raise the standards of the young citizen so that they could gain more from their expertise consequently contributing in the growth and development of the nation. PMKVY has a series of processes that needs to get followed by every individual candidate. The processes are:
Enrolment: It is for the training centres to get enrolled to running the scheme as per the government norms.
Training: It is the second process of this skill development project in which the training part is provided by these training centres on the basis of NSQF framework.
Assessment: after the training is done, it the responsibility of the Assessment Agencies to take the examination of the trained candidates.
Skill Certification: Assessment is followed by accreditation of certification which will be Industry & Government recognised to the candidates after their successful completion of the training process.
Placement Assistance: The final [process in this scheme is to successfully fulfil the placement of the candidates by the Training partners.
