Open schooling allows one to take direct examinations in Class X provided one has a basic elementary education or class XII provided they have passed a Class X examination or the equivalent of the same. Educational Qualifications required for enrolling in the Open schooling system
For NIOS online admission 2018:2019
To be eligible to be admitted to Class X,
Candidates need to be 14 years old.
Scene Copy of Adhar card
Scane copy of school living certificate of having passed class VIII or IX.
Sane of Signature and passport size photo

To be eligible to be admitted to Class XII, candidates need to have passed the secondary exam, i.e., standard X examination.
Candidates need to be 15 years old.

For Class X and Class XII, NIOS conducts the exam twice a year, once around April/May and then again in October/November.

3. Clicks continue after selecting the desired course and stream.
4. Create a new account for yourself.
5. A confirmation email will be received on the email id provided.
6. Clicking the confirmation link in the email will activate the account.
7. NIOS admission page will be redirected.
8. All the details need to be filled correctly.
9. Click next after this.
10. Upload all the corresponding documents and click submit.
11. Take a printout of the Successful Registration screen which appears.
