Trek to Kareri Lake An Untouched Glacial Lake

ITINERARY:

Day 0(Thursday), 1st March:- Depart From Keshav Puram Metro Station, Delhi in the evening (Reporting Time 7 PM).

Day 1(Friday), 2nd March:-
Arrive at kareri Village in morning. Freshen-up and start trek towards base camp (Rioti). Have lunch and half day at leisure. Dinner with bonfire music & night stay in Rioti.

Day 2(Saturday), 3rd March:- RIOTI TO KARERI LAKE(Height 3500m distance 9 Km)
After Breakfast, Start your trek for Kareri lake with packed lunch.
Trail goes through mixed forests of Oak, Rhododendron and Pine. First 2 Km is a level walk and then there is steep ascent along Kareri Nullah Stream which has to be crossed over a number of times over improvised wooden bridges.
Dinner & over night stay in tents at bank of Kareri Lake.

Day 3(SUNDAY) : KARERI LAKE TO KARERI VILLAGE (Height 2200 Mts. Distance 13 km) and evening depature to Delhi

After Breakfast, Start your trek for Kareri Village through short trek from the lake which is steep descent. This will be last day of trip. From kareri village Depart for Delhi by 5 PM.

Day 4(Monday), 5th March:- Arrival in Delhi
Trip ends with memories to cherish for lifetime.
