About College
History
RajaRajeswari Dental College & Hospital was established in the year 1992 with just 40 admissions in BDS course. It was housed in a rented building measuring 40,000 Sq. Feet. Now it has progressed to a full- fledged Postgraduate Dental Institution with 100 BDS admissions and MDS courses in all specialties of Dental Surgery. In addition, PhD in Orthodontics, Periodontology and certificate course in Implantology are also offered in RRDCH. The college is recognized by DCI, Government of Karnataka and Government of India and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. It is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment Accreditation Council)

Eligibility
50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and pass in English in XII std or equivalent Exam. Age should complete 17 years by 31st December of admission year.
Course Description
Bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) degree is a five year under graduate degree approved by DCI (dental council of India).
This aim of the course is to produce dentists who can provide finest treatment to maintain or improve the oral health of individuals.
The course trains the students to understand dental structures, its diseases, right diagnosis and treatment methods. BDS comprises of lectures, demonstrations, seminars, group discussions, clinical work and conferences.
