Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is the dream project of Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation. Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation is a well known foundation in the research and education fields since 1994. Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research was established in April 2009 in the Medical Tourism HUB Hyderabad. 

Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is developed in a 10Acres campus with ultra modern teaching facilities.

A 300 bedded teaching hospital is established from May’2009. From Jan’2012 Medical College started functioning with a young and vibrant teaching headed by Dr. Prakash Bhatia as Principal. 

Course Name: M.B.B.S.

Duration: 4 years 6 Months Academic year and One Year Compulsory rotating intern ship (House Surgeon Ship) 4 years is divided into 3 phases (9 Semesters each of 6 months).
Phase - I consists of 2 Semesters
Phase - II consists of 3 Semesters
Phase - III Part - I consists of 2 Semesters
Phase - III Part - II consists of 2 Semesters

1. Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry are taught during the Phase-I and examined at the end of Phase-I

2. Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine & Pharmacology are taught in Phase - II and examined at the end of Phase-II

3. E.N.T., Ophthalmology and Community Medicine are examined in Phase-III Part-I

4. Clinical subjects - Medicine & Allied, Surgery & allied and Obst & Gynecology to be taught during 
Phase - II and Phase - III and examined in Phase - III Part - II
