Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), Hyderabad invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRFs) & Research Associate (RA). The last date for receipt of applications is 31st August 2016.

JRF,Metallurgy / Material Science,03,Essential : B.E./B.Tech. with first division in any of the branches (Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering / Materials Engineering / Materials Technology / Metallurgical and Materials Engineering) along with NET/GATE qualification (OR) M.Tech./ M.E. in any of the branches with first division at both B.E./ B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. levels.

Desirable: Preference may be given to those who have M.Tech degree in one of the above branches.

JRF,Physics,01,Essential: M.Sc. in Physics with first division along with NET/GATE qualification

Desirable: Prior research experience in educational or R&D organization.

RA,Metallurgy/ Materials Science,01,Essential: Ph.D. in any of the branches (Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering / Materials Engineering / Materials Technology / Metallurgical and Materials Engineering) (OR) M.E./M.Tech. with first division in any of the branches mentioned under Sl No. 01 along with 03 years of research, teaching or design and development experience with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.

Desirable: Preference may be given to those having a Ph.D. degree.

RA,Physics,02,Essential: Ph.D. in Physics

Desirable: Prior research experience in the field of materials science

Age Limit: 28 Years for JRF; 35 Years for RA (as on the date of the interview).

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview at DMRL, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad - 500 058 and should carry a hard copy of the application form along with the testimonials. The Candidates will be required to produce all certificates/ testimonials, community certificate, if applicable, in original during interview. They must also bring a set of attested photocopies of all testimonials along with two recent colour passport size photographs during interview.
